The OVC United Way team is all smiles as they celebrate surpassing their goal for United Way this year.
The final tally will come later this week, but OVC doesn’t need to wait until then to start to celebrate, says Judy Metherel, OVC area co-ordinator for this year’s United Way campaign. “As of Friday, November 28, our total was $41,553. Our 2014 goal was $37,500.”
“I want to thank the United Way committee for all their hard work setting up and running this year’s events,” says Metherel. “And we want to thank the OVC community for their great response. You not only helped us reach our goal, you helped surpass it.”
There is still time to submit a payroll pledge form to qualify for the OVC draw for a parking pass. Pledge forms returned by noon on Wednesday, December 3 will be entered into the draw to take place on Thursday, December 4.
The UofG Grand Prize draws will take place at the closing lunch on December 5. Grand prizes include a TD Canada Trust $500 RRSP, registration/tuition for one course in Continuing Education at the university, a UofG parking pass for one year, and full day use of the modern meeting room in Staples.
