The National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases is offering student veterinarians a chance to win $5,000.
To qualify, students must submit a proposal for a 1-to-3 minute video that illustrates the importance of appropriate antibiotic use in animal husbandry. Proposals must be submitted to jhodge@katrime.com by January 10, 2015.
Entries will be reviewed by a selection panel that includes Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) President, Dr. Jean Gauvin. The successful proposal will have until midnight on March 1, 2015 to complete the video.
A news item on the CVMA website provides more information about the call for video proposals.
