The University of Guelph campus will be packed with visitors for this weekend’s College Royal Open House, and there will be lots of fun activities and displays for the whole family at the OVC.
New this year will be hourly pet care demonstrations at the OVC Smith Lane Animal Hospital, located at the Hill’s Pet Nutrition Primary Healthcare Centre. Drop by for a visit with staff and students to learn about the latest innovations in veterinary teaching and the veterinary services offered by the OVC Smith Lane Animal Hospital.
Also new this year is the 4-H Rabbit Hopping Show in the Clinical Skills Building on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Traditional favourites will also be back including Old MacDonald’s New Farm in the Dairy Barn, Teddy Bear Surgery in the OVC cafeteria, the Livestock Show in the Clinical Skills Building, human and animal anatomy displays, OVC club displays, and more.
