A Computing and Communications Services (CCS) scheduled maintenance will commence Sunday, July 19, from 12:01 a.m. and last until 2:00 p.m. The impact of this maintenance will be widespread, including the shutdown of major systems such as Central File Service (CFS) storage, Gryph Mail and campus WiFi. Telephones will continue to function, however, the speech auto attendant will not be available during the outage.
CCS has made every attempt to minimize the impact by conducting the maintenance during the weekend overnight hours in the summer months. The CCS project team has been in close communication with ITSIG, CCS and a number of other clients who would be the most impacted by this work. Regular maintenance such as this is critical to enable a high quality of service to campus clients and to enhance capacity and performance to IT resources and infrastructure.
