The Office of Research will be holding a JELF (John R. Evans Leaders Fund) competition open to all regular full-time faculty members. With a projected budget of $250,000 available in the open competition, it is anticipated that up to two proposals will be selected to move forward to full proposal development and submission to CFI.
At most one proposal from each College will be considered. If there is more than one application, submissions will be adjudicated and ranked at the College level. The internal deadline for submitting to the OVC ADR office (shayan@uoguelph.ca) is November 10. Approved proposals must be two pages or less. Proposals will be reviewed by a committee consisting of the VP Research, AVPR Strategic Partnerships and the seven ADRs.
