Applications welcome for Ontario Research Excellence Fund
The Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation has officially launched round seven of the Research Excellence Fund.
The Ontario Research Excellence Fund promotes research excellence of strategic value in Ontario by supporting new leading edge, transformative and internationally significant research. All disciplines are welcome for this round of funding, but the Ministry of Research and Innovation particularly encourages applications in bio-economy and clean technologies, advanced health technologies and digital media information and communication technologies. NSERC information session Feb. 5
Erika Bilodeau, program officer from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) will visit the U of G campus on Feb. 5 to provide information on the upcoming Strategic Grant competition.
The session will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the University Centre Room 441. The session will also include remarks from faculty with experience in the Strategic Project Grants program as evaluation group members and/or successful applicants.
