An OVC graduate was featured in her hometown newspaper last week after becoming one of only a handful of board-certified feline practitioners in Canada.
Dr. Kelly St. Denis OVC ’99, who earned her certification in November from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, is one of only five veterinarians and Canada and 90 worldwide to achieve that designation.
St. Denis has focused on cats since opening the Charing Cross Cat Clinic in Brantford over six years ago. She says the cats-only environment is better for patients that can get stressed out by the sounds and smells of other animals or the presence of dogs in the waiting room.
