The video campaign in support of OVC Pet Trust and the Mona Campbell Centre for Animal Cancer continues to attract national and international attention.
The video, featuring dogs ‘singing’ in a recording studio, is showcased today on the Globe and Mail’s home page. That’s after OVC cancer specialist Dr. Paul Woods was featured in an interview on CTV-Kitchener and CTV News Channel over the weekend along with an OVC client talking about cancer treatment for pets.
Gilligan, a six-year-old Chinese crested hairless dog, and owner Debbie Zelisko also made a special trip to Toronto for a live appearance in the CTV studio. Watch that interview here.
The video was released in November in support of the OVC Pet Trust Fund’s awareness and fundraising campaign called “Keep Cancer on a Leash.” It has attracted over 230,000 views so far on YouTube and has been featured on the Global television network, the National Post, local and regional newspapers as well as numerous news and entertainment websites across North America and beyond.
