The elves were busy in the Department of Population Medicine last week packing up gifts and donations for a family in need through the Adopt-A-Family program of the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington.
Popmed faculty, staff and students raised $939 to provide presents and essentials this holiday season for one family that included a young girl and teenaged boy. They also collected $280 for grocery gift cards to be dispersed by the program to other families in need.
