The OVC Health Sciences Centre welcomes Leroy Carter to the role of Health Informatics Systems Analyst.
Leroy comes with 15 years of experience in the technology field which includes 11 years in university environments. He holds a MBA with a concentration in Information Systems Management and a masters’ degree in Project Management. At Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, he was responsible for the data and information systems in a range of healthcare technologies as part of his scope. These included a Hospital Information System, a Lab Information Management System, a RIS/PACS solution, two specialized large animal information systems and various related and unrelated business solutions. In 2018 he was hired on a contract basis to assist in a clinician scheduling and locum management project. He is looking forward in continuing his work at the university utilizing the skillsets he has developed over his career.
