• *NEW*Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture Delegation in Canada announces the launch of our 2019 Research and Internship Assistance Program (RIAP) (Scroll down page for info.). This program provides grants and support to individuals working in agriculture in Canada and countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and is divided into two components: Research Assistance and Agriculture Internships. • *NEW*2018Zoetis Investment in Innovation Fund representing a total of $60,000 in funding, is available to proposals received from the five Canadian veterinary colleges. Proposal submissions should be made in writing to Zoetis to the attention of Dr. Gordon Strick by October 19, 2018, gordon.j.strick@zoetis.com. Notification of approved funding will be provided by November 30, 2018.

• Morris Animal Foundation Announces Call for Wildlife/Exotics Proposals    The Foundation is now accepting proposals for Established Investigator, First Award, Fellowship Training and Pilot Study grants on topics relevant to wildlife/exotics health.

• Call for Applications - 2018 University of Guelph & CASV-ACVP Swine Leadership Travel Awards applications are open. There are five $1,000 travel awards available. •  *NEW*Morris Animal Foundation Announces Call for Submissions to the Veterinary Student Scholars Program  Each institution may select and submit only one student project proposal, and submissions must be made online by the academic institution for review by Morris Animal Foundation. Deadline: Wednesday, March 6, 2019, by 11:59 p.m. EST.
  
  
• Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Doctoral Awards The NSERC Doctoral Awards consist of two scholarships, administered through a single application, that support outstanding students pursuing a doctoral degree in natural sciences or engineering. Internal Guelph Deadline: October 12, 2018. Note: The deadline to submit official copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts to your Graduate Program Assistant is October 5, 2018.
  
  
• Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Awards The SSHRC Doctoral Awards consist of two scholarships, administered through a single application, that support outstanding students pursuing a doctoral degree in the social sciences or humanities. • Canada Graduate Scholarship – Master’s (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) The objective of the Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS M) Program is to help develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies.
