The 46th annual Southern Ontario Reproductive Biology (SORB) Conference will be held Friday, May 18 at the Arboretum at the University of Guelph.
This province-wide meeting attracts reproductive biologists from most of the universities within Ontario. The conference provides the opportunity for trainees to present their work, for faculty to connect and establish productive collaborations and for all to advance their understanding of reproductive biology.
The conference features a keynote lecture from a respected reproductive biology scientist - this year’s keynote lecturer will be U of G’s Dr. Allan King from OVC’s Biomedical Sciences department and Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Animal Reproductive Biotechnology.
Meeting organizers encourage presentations from trainees. This year, there will be 15 oral presentations from trainees and approximately 40 poster presentations.
