The Interactive Global Research Map is a marketing tool used to promote University of Guelph researchers’ past and present international research activities. The map was previously updated in Summer 2016 and the Office of Research is presently seeking to add international research activities with a start date of 2015 onwards.
If you would like to create a pin for your international research project, please email Nancy Johnson (Manager, Research Services, OVC) at nancyj@uoguelph.ca with the subject line: “Pin my research project!” before June 8, 2017. In your email please provide the following information:
- Name of U of G researcher(s). If there is more than one researcher, list the research leader first, followed by the co-investigator(s).
- Title of the research activity.
- Country affiliated with the research activity. Research activities conducted in Canada are only included on the map if the research is also being conducted in another country.
- Detailed address affiliated with the research activity, if available. If there is not an address affiliated with the activity, providing the country is a minimum requirement.
- Website affiliated with the research activity. If there is not a specific website affiliated with the research, the lead researcher’s U of G profile can be used.
- Start and end date of research, if available.
Optional Information (if applicable):
- Brief summary of the research activity.
- Geographical focus (i.e., if investigating a particular part or feature of the country).
- Partnering institution affiliated with the research activity.
- Publication date of research.
