OVC welcomes Holly Illman to the position of Administrative Manager, Financial and Accounting Services and Operations Biomedical Sciences. She joined OVC on Monday, March 20, 2017 and will be located in Room 2627 in Biomedical Sciences.
Holly has significant experience in a variety of business environments including education, agriculture, information technology and financial services. With an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University (Accounting and Human Resources) and an Honours Bachelor of Science from York University, Holly has the credentials and subject-matter expertise to manage OVC SAS Financial and Accounting Services as a centre of service excellence at U of G.
Holly will lead the Financial and Accounting Services team in a number of key initiatives including the ongoing implementation of QuickBooks and the continued improvement of standard operating procedures in our client-service model. She will also be a key member of the department of Biomedical Sciences by partnering with the Chair to support all faculty, staff and graduate students in all aspects of the department’s mission. Holly will also be a valued member of the SAS Management team, solving problems proactively, working on collaborative projects and ensuring that all departments are well-supported by our administrative support teams.
