The Equine club will be hosting a guest veterinarian to give a talk on equine laminitis and welfare, and equine euthanasia.
1230 (1715) - Surgery Club - Internship Q and A Session
Dr. Michelle Oblak will answer questions regarding internships,
including tips on how to get good references during your rotations and
how to select the right internship for you. This talk is meant for upper
year students, students who have already attended previous internship
seminars, and those who have an idea of their programs of interest.

The Equine Club will be hosting local practitioners to discuss their
experiences with equine internships and what they look for when hiring a
new grad.

ECC (Emergency and Critical Care) Resident Dr. Lillian Cousto will be
going over a case of Myasthenia Gravis in a dog. Students will have the
opportunity to participate in active discussion with Dr. Cousto.

1230 (1714) - Pathology Club - 99 Problems but a Lab Sample ain’t one
The Animal Health Lab (AHL) will be sponsoring a lunch talk on how to
submit samples for pathology as a veterinarian in practice. Food choice
is still being decided.
