“ OVC Global Vets are finishing up their volunteer work overseas and heading back to Canada soon to get ready for the new school year. “#Repost@globalvets Last Friday team ECCO 2016 finished their 2 week placement at UDCA (Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales), Bogota.  We are very grateful that we were able to work with both the large and small animal teams. They welcomed us with open arms, in which we gained both knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine. A special thank you to Dr. Jorge Torres for coordinating our placement; to Dr. Magnolia Rosas, Dr. Felipe Laverde and Dr. Móni A Camacho for making sure that we had a positive experience. We are very happy we also got to spend some quality time with the dogs that are up for adoption!” OVC Global Vets consists of 6 teams of student veterinarians from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph that are providing volunteer veterinary services around the world this summer. Each team works alongside licensed veterinary teams in clinics or rehab Centres. #wildlife#ovcglobalvets2016#OVC2018
