The ongoing crisis in Fort McMurray has prompted donations from across the country, including those to assist animals in need.
OVC was contacted by Michele (Mitch) Hampshire, with Horse Limo, to consider a donation of first aid supplies. Horse Limo is sending a horse trailer west to help with the situation in Fort McMurray.
The OVC Health Sciences Centre provided a box of supplies that were not species specific, including bandages and basic veterinary supplies for all domestic animals.
OVC is pleased it was able to offer this gesture of support to the devastated community.
