The family of retired Ontario Veterinary College staff member John David Christopher “Chris” Lewis has set up a memorial fund in his memory to help purchase equipment for labs in OVC.
Chris Lewis (Ag. Dip. ’70) passed away on January 19 in Cochrane, Alberta at the age of 82 years. His wife of almost 50 years Rowena (nee Annand) and daughters Jennifer Taillefer (UofG ’93) and Susie Nadeau (OVC ’02) were at his side.
Chris worked as a lab technician in the STAT Lab at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph for 22 years, retiring in 1994. Chris and Rowena moved to Alberta in 2008 to be closer to their two daughters and five grandchildren.
His family has set up the Chris Lewis Memorial fund to help purchase equipment for the labs in OVC with these options:
