A new computer program called Bringing the farm to you is profiled in the June issue of the Milk Producer magazine.
Dr. Todd Duffield, Population Medicine, and Nicole Hogle, OVC 2017, are leading the project which provides students with interactive farm situations on their computers.
Fieldwork is crucial for student veterinarians, but there is no guarantee teaching moments will occur during every farm visit. The program aims to increase students learning opportunities by simulating real-life situations on dairy farms.
